Like Rush, I used to think of cats as aloof and standoffish. And some of them are. But now we have four, and all of them express affection to some degree. I have one in particular that just loves the snot out of me. Every day when I come home from work, she jumps on my shoulder and rubs against my face with hers, then crawls across my chest so I end up holding her like a baby while she kneads on my arm.
