I offer a more sophisticated question:
In a kitchen there's a working fridge with the door open. In due time the kitchen temperature will:
- a) decrease
- b) increase
- c) stay the same

Not enough information.
Inefficient frdige? Will the compressor runn longer to produce the same amount of cooling? Where is the thermostat? What time of year is it (house furnace set to heat or cool?).
But to play your game, the temperature will probably stay the same.

Wait for it.

Trick question. Define “due time” and the question could be answered.

The kitchen temperature will increase, at least until the time the refrigerator motor fails because of its futile non-stop efforts to cool the fridge. Until then, the heat of the motor will warm the kitchen.

It will get warmer (in most instances). The compressor puts off more BTUs than any cooling it might be able to produce. It is designed to cool a small space and not run continuously.
The back of your refrigerator is warm.

That's a good question... not as obvious as it first seems...

I don’t have the answer as any of the three choices.
I do know at my house if the fridge door is open, too long, a teenage son is going to get his A__ kicked.
The answer is D) Know what you want before opening door.
