Seven people have been shot, one fatally, during separate attacks on the South and West sides today, authorities said.
The fatal shooting occurred around 11:30 a.m. in the 7500 block of South Union Avenue in the Gresham neighborhood, when a man was shot in the head and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, according to police and the Cook County medical examiners office. The man, believed to be in his 20s, was declared dead at 12:01 p.m., according to the medical examiner's office.

Yet another story about the staus quo in Chicago. I was beginning to think Chicago had finally gained control of the street rats and the killings stopped. Guess that was just wishful thinking.
The media has been pretty quiet about the shootings in Chicago for a few weeks and notably over the Labor day weekend. Must have had too much more important stuff to cover like odumbo and his phony war with Syria.
