WOO HOO! Say what you will about bread and circuses, but dang it, folks, we need a break. Can’t wait for kickoff...
Ravens kick Bronco butt....again.
I agree. Can’t wait to see the Bears trounce the Bengals.
So is the Green Bay game at Lambert Field?
Rooted for Ravens last time but I won’t now that they are rootin’ for Obamacare.
Go Broncos! - sweet revenge
How you people can waste time on a thread like this is beyond me, when it is common knowledge that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers shall sweep all before them to take the Super Bowl in an unbeaten season.
Either there or Kominsky Park.
Amen!!! Bears fan in Arizona... Thank goodness it is the early game here.
Good thing Brent Musberger didn’t do the Florida State game...he may not have been able to talk :)
The Who Dat’s are going to smoke the Falcons.
I am a J-E-T-S fan and I say Suck For Clowney!! I know it does not flow like Suck For Luck did.
As much as I despise professional athletes like the MLB and NFL....I need this, this year.
Anything to get the mind off of Obastard.
Life-long Bears fan here, grew up near Chicago. I’m very interested to see how they will fare with the new coach, trades, rookies, etc. They have huge potential - will they reach it?
We got two entirely different fan bases here tonight:
Those black bird insaneamatics... from Baltimore against those gun grabbing crazies... from Coldarado--
And unless you are very blind, it is so very, very, very clear which... I am rooting for tonight--
Yet I fear Mile High Manning will have a better night... than Crab Shack Joe.
My late grandma remembered going to Cardinal games back when they were still here.
After that of course she loved the Bears.
OH YEAH Bender it is NFL Football season start tonight
MY Raiders are playing on Sunday around 1pm est
Not sure who they playing against YET
I go with Denver tonite!
more picks later in week
MAN we have doofus as Secretary of state
I think safe to say Rummy could probably catch football back in da day or Cap Weineberger LOL!
I pick Denver tonight, but not to cover.
Will the defending Champs really be so lousy this year? Everyone loves Cincy for that division.
I think going be Mules over White Horses LOL!
I didn’t know they were playing tonite...shows how much I don’t give a sh*t.
Mostly overpaid thugs.
I’m leaning towards your niners to win it all. Pats have a bye to the playoffs.
“Mostly overpaid thugs.”
At least all the Baracks haven’t even started pee wee football yet. And that jerk Lewis is gone.
I remember seeing an episode of the “The Jetsons” were the players were replaced by robots.
“Im leaning towards your niners to win it all. Pats have a bye to the playoffs.”
Either them or Seattle. Pats will wilt, as has been their M.O. since Spygate.
“I remember seeing an episode of the The Jetsons were the players were replaced by robots.”
Nice! No injuries or law enforcement entanglements to deal with.
Yeah it would all come down to coaching/programing and robot repair.
There was also an ep of the Twilight Zone were boxers were robots as human prizefighting was banned.
At this point I’d like to share my fearless Super prediction with you people. Yeah, I’m just going to skip the preliminary stuff. I see New England emerging out of the weak AFC by default and they will face your Dallas Cowboys in the big game, only to get whipped 37-13.
The Stepford Wives: Becoming reality?
This just in: The Raiders have forfeited this week as penance for past transgressions against football...
The thing about professional athletics is you can’t fake it like these clowns in the WH. I enjoy watching true talent.
True. But how much of the talent is due to being hopped up on ‘x, y and z’?
The future was 1974! They should have talked to a real scientist who could have told them there wouldn’t be any androids in only 10 years.
At least the Jetsons is set 100 years or so after the early 60’s.
And the flags will be pink, naturally.
Sunday, September 8th vs. Cincinnati â Avg. Price: $403, Get-in: $194
While Cincinnati may not be the draw that Green Bay or Dallas is, they will be the opponent for Chicagoâs home opener this season. Â Thus, the get-in price of $194 is second only to the Cowboys ($195) and a dollar more expensive than it will take to see Green Bay. Â The Bengals are coming off a second straight defeat to the Texans in the playoffs, so theyâll be looking to begin the year on the right foot and send new coach Marc Trestman to an early 0-1 record.
Sunday, September 15th vs. Minnesota â Avg. Price: $411, Get-in: $175
The Vikings were able to slip into the NFC playoffs last year thanks to Chicagoâs late season stumble and the heroics of their star running back, Adrian Peterson. Â The Vikings moved Percy Harvin during the off season, but added familiar face Greg Jennings to the wide receiver corps. Â At $175 for the lowest priced ticket, the Vikings have the third lowest get-in price for Bears home games this year.
More like Raiders fans got kick out of the stadium with their behavior
Rocky III must take place in alternate universe
It probably took 5 people to operate that thing.
They had that robot on an episode of Family Guy.
If I had that robot, I’d program it to spray Pam at campaignpeter-ct.
I think my Boys will be there... but it will be Allegra's Texican opposing them.
Ain't that the way it goes, two Texas dome stadium teams playing outdoors in the cold, cold February of NEW... JERSEY!!!!
I hear ya, Bendy, and I always enjoy a little action... before setting down for a little football--
So, buster, here is something... for you to think about!
Whoa, I always suspected Ayatollah Khamenei... was a Bronco's fan!
Take that... you Misbegotten, Miserable, Manning Maniac!
You know, I was mulling over that very possibility a few minutes ago after my post. I really think Houston has a chance with their elite skill players and perhaps the best depth in the league. It'd be fun to watch Dallas V Houston.
BTW, whither, Allegra, the Texan's number one fan?
what do you think bender?
Weather delay due to zot activity in the area. Oh and that graphic is raciss.
I’m a loyalist.
