Or frequent a bar that has standards.

Was it a convention of unvaccinated barhoppers?

My guess — cold water in the sink.

Need to scald those glasses — and sometimes the person behind the bar gets a little too busy.

That’s a lot of people infected in one place and with a disease for which most have been immunized.

“D’Jais Bar & Grill in Belmar, a place that says on its website that it is “one of the Jersey shore’s most talked about venues.”

And not for reasons they would like.

If the reputation of this place is the same as it was 25 years ago, this joint is a real roidhead place. A-Rod could get everything he wants at this joint.

In the dumps with the mumps as the adolescent pumps his way into his hat.

This place is about twenty minutes from where I live. The place as always attracted a kind of wild crowd. It caters to college kids mostly. Lot of nice babes there, that’s for sure.

My friend posted this on facebook.

The story I read (different one than this link I think) said that one person was a small child who caught it from a family member, presumably.

But most of them must be adults.

Do you think they are foreigners who maybe never were immunized or do you think there are this many people in the 21-35 age range whose parents didn’t get them inoculated?

Also, is mumps bad for an adult? I think it is very dicey if you get it as an adolescent, but I might have it confused with something else.

Also, is mumps bad for an adult?”

Back before there was a mumps vaccine, we parents always wanted to make sure our sons had mumps when they were small because we believed having mumps as an adult would cause sterility in males. Not sure if it was really the truth or just something handed down from generation to generation. Didn’t really matter whether it was truth or not it’s what we did, often exposing our male children to someone who had the mumps so they wouldn’t suffer this fate.

I believe mumps can be very dangerous. I think in adult men it causes complete impotence.
