There have been many great college players that did not make it in the NFL. Also, many great NFL players did not start out in the position which they are famous for playing. Some did not even start playing football. He could be a great tight end or full back.

I think in your zeal to slam Tebow as a quarterback you are responding to things I didn't say. I was commenting on how there was less outrage over Kurt Warner's exppression of his faith than Tebow today. I wasn't making the case that Tebow was as good a quarterback as Warner or that his faith is why he doesn't have a job; just that folks have been more willing to attack Tebow over his faith than they were Warner (Warner has a lot of folks after him toward the end at STL, don't have your wife go on talk radio).
I've never understood why those who attack Tebow as a QB often feel the need to theorize that he would be a great TE or FB. There are lots of great athletes that have played TE and FB their whole lives that can't make it in the NFL, why would a guy who has never played those positions, especially TE, be thought to have a shot?
I do not think NFL teams management care what your religion is as long as it is not a distraction to the team or on the field. I think there is more of an issue with Tebow because he has NOT proved himself to be anything except a self promoter in the pros. If he was even half as good as Kurt Warner, it would not be an issue. He is not. At least not yet.
