Some shows are not at all meant for children, or even most adults because of there strong negative influence. Dexter come to mind for the same reasons. I always thought it unhealthy for a civilized society to try and mainstream all behaviors, like heroin addiction and serial murders, for two examples. These are the real Blurred Lines to be worried about.

True, but I don’t think that it is “mainstreaming” if artists refer to negative aspects of society. Part of their job is social commentary to highlight exactly those types of things. When that commentary turns to glorification, that is when the line is crossed.

I don’t think BB has crossed that line, because it depicts all the horrible consequences of this lifestyle in some detail.
