Bass singer hits a very low C note
can dogs hear him?
Gospel singer JD Sumner could hit the C Below the “Low C”. Of course the mic had to be cranked up for it to be heard!
I had one student in all the years I have been teaching who could do that.
Ironically, he was also a Gospel Singer!
I used to do that on a regular basis. It required a special warm up.
A few years later I also high C.
Wonderful!
What style of music do you sing?
Mosly contemporary Christian. And classical when I can find it usually in a chorale.
My voice has surprised me on both ends of the spectrum.
I trained for opera for a while and we were both, my wife and I, going to try out for one of the opera companies in town but we had to break because of job changes.
I model my singing after Bryn Terfel: I attempt to suck all of the air out of the room and leave the other singers gasping for oxygen.LOL.
Both my wife and I were scheduled on Wednesdays. Our teacher told us that Wednesdays were “Drama Queen Day” and she could only take on day of that per week. So we were given full reign in the dramatic delivery department.
And we did deliver. LOL.
I just became the music director for a Biker Ministry. (Just came home from a rehearsal)
Congratulationd. I envy you.
Thank YOu! :-)
