That’s OK I choose to try to lead them off the plantation rather than tell them to stay right the hell where they are.

Filibuster of the King holiday? Good for him. That Viet Cong-loving race baiter should never have had a national holiday to begin with.

Hardly. You’re the one who sees any attempt to reach out to your fellow Americans as giving them something. Hell most of them are in better financial shape than I am because I don’t take the government money.

I choose to be an example.

I was reading some comments on an article somewhere on line about the “destroyed black community” because of the rampant unemployment, etc. No, they are not destroyed, they have just devolved into a different set of values and behaviors based on the incentives in front of them. When you can still eat and have a roof over your head and a cell phone and a plasma screen and 100% leisure time for simply breathing, anyone who aspires to knowledge or a job or a stable nuclear family is simply a sucker. Leisure is the highest value for the permanent underclass, and until there is literal pain and starvation, there will be no change. The welfare state has eliminated the moral hazard of ignorance, stupidity, and sloth. And modern Christendom is actively contributing to this by their incessant soft-peddling the consequences of sinful behavior. It should and will lead to destruction, and any effort to mitigate that is simply both insane and heretical. stopping the disruption of small failures and the natural feedback loop will simply forestall them into giant pyroxisms.

Jesse Helms was a true Patriot. Without equivocation. Period.

Ted Cruz is right to speak highly of this this champion of real American principles.

"Doctor" "Reverend" Marxist Luther King was a commie who hated Ronald Reagan.

Why should it be up to the Republicans to start GIVING to the black community. Why doesn’t the black community start doing something FOR THEMSELVES? Or or they just not smart enough to do anything without support? This is getting old. If people cannot help themselves, then THEY have the problem, why must someone else always have to solve THEIR problems? The more “help” given, the more dependent they become.

What did you just say?

Do you think it is compassion to work hard and do without so that those who do not work hard do not have to do without?

It is better to teach a man to fish, than give him the fish.

As far as your view of me. This is how it is. If someone is working hard, attempting to get by and can’t, sure, I’ll give you a hand up.

But if you are on the government dole because you think I owe you something. Kiss the big one.

And another thing. Charity is a personal matter. It is not up to the government to TELL me STEAL from me, to give to a bunch of dang bums just because their long ago third generation, maybe, mammy....was a slave!

What I want for the black community is remarkably like what I want for all Americans. And no one should treat one American differently than another based on anything as trivial as the color of their skin.

I’m not going to waste my time with your kind. You’ve got issues that you aren’t likely to face.

Agreed. It's a good thing he can't see how his contributions have been squandered.

“That’s OK I choose to try to lead them off the plantation rather than tell them to stay right the hell where they are.”

I don’t think the African American community matters to either party very much.
Both parties seem to be for the status quo.

I applaud your example but I think it will mostly not have an impact here. A lot of people have already decided that all AA want is a free ride, good luck changing that attitude.

Native Americans are doing pretty well. I guess a lot of them passed HS math as well. And buisness and marketing class. Lol

That’s a good thing. Perhaps blacks could learn from them.

Only God can change a man’s heart. There’s a revival coming up in this nation and in the black community that will turn many hearts around. It’s not seen yet, just as the wind is not seen but its effect is.......

You don't want to waste your time on people like me, and I don't want to waste my money on people who choose not to work for a living.

Like I said, you are part of the problem. It is those like you who make workers like me pay for the welfare state.

If I don't give a krap about the poor, who are YOU to take my money anyway?

You are so compassionate. Take double out of your pocket to make up for "my kind”.
