Noted amateur radio operator and publisher, Wayne Green, passed away (Silent Key) on September 13, 2013. Agree, disagree or whatever, he was a hoot to read and follow and had many, many good ideas. I just wanted to pass this on to the amateur and general radio community on his passing.

I attended a presentation by him at a Ham Convention 20+ years ago. His talk impressed me greatly. I bought multiple music CDs from his “Adventures In Music” sampler operation.
Yes, he was a happy icon breaker and irascible in approach. A man who lived the axiom of “Illegitimi non carborundum”, “Don’t let the bastards grind you down!”
