FULL TITLE: Inside the mind of the Navy Yard killer: 'Paranoid' gunman was being treated for mental illness and was left 'devastated after Thai girlfriend dumped him when she refused to move to the U.S.'

Washington Naval Yard gunman Aaron Alexis began treatment for serious mental illness in August as friends of the shooter today revealed he was devastated last year when a Thai girlfriend left him broken-hearted.

According to anonymous law enforcement officials, Alexis, 34, sought treatment from the Veterans Administration for paranoia, insomnia and possible schizophrenia just one month before his shooting rampage which claimed the lives of 12 people on Monday.

Prior to this, Alexis visited Thailand in 2012 where he spent his time frequenting massage parlors and was crushed when a girl he liked rejected his offer to come and live with him in the United States because the woman 'didn't like black people.'

The left will use this as an excuse to track "mental illness" even more, to prevent people from owning guns.

If he was in real bad shape, the physiatrist should have reported him.

It says that the girlfriend didn’t like black people. Then why was she his girlfriend?

Also, I heard he was from NY, but had lived briefly in TX. But the media seems to focus on the TX part. No agenda there...

Name the so-called “anti-depressant” here: ______________

That which makes some people *care* - *less.* As in, being intellectually aware of what is right and wrong, but *still very much aware of how their conscience is suppressed:*

The thing that makes a person *FEEL* restraint and wonder, “Is this right? ... is suppressed for some patients.

That stuff does *NOT* work as well as its pushers claim.

Since he was in Texas and George Bush was also from Texas, it is obviously Bush’s fault. Well, Bush and the gun which sort of fired all by itself.

He was probably a mandatory hire to begin with. Just like that fired negro policeman that killed all those white folks out of revenge.

Can you imagine being self aware that you’re incompetent for a job and being surrounded by more qualified folks that knew you were forced on them and that’s you’re entire life experience wherever you’ve been? You got in not by competence but because of the threat of law and it was almost impossible to be fired.

That has to create a lot of mental baggage over time.

Inside the mind of a spineless military bureaucrat:

Sure his dossier indicates that he’s psycho, but if we classify him as that and take away his gun, he’ll claim we’re discriminating against him because he’s black.

I predict that will remain a deep secret a long time. I have a hunch there's a great deal to hide.

Looking for info
As an honorably discharged vet from a good ways back, I thought the VA was only for retired vets and disabled vets.
Especially, since this guy was discharged other than honorable.
How does it work, do ya’ll know?

How does it work, do ya’ll know?

In the beginning it was promised forever if you actually needed it. I joined in 1957 along with a buddy and he was treated gratis at an Oklahoma VA hospital, until he died a couple years ago, it may vary from state to state. He was not disabled or retired but they honored his service anyway.
