oh i was beyond furious at this. The girlie at the rental car place got a little taste of it on Monday when i picked up the rental. after we went over the car for bumps, dings etc. she said Have you thought about how you are going to cover the car? i said what do you mean? she said insurance. i said won’t my insurance cover this? and before she could say boo i said the only reason i have this rental car is because some dimwit hit my 1 week old car and bc she was judged liable, HER insurer is paying for the repair and the rental and i will be d@mned if i pay dime one out of pocket for anything relating to this which was NOT MY FAULT. so she jumped back and let that go. i guess she was trying to get me to buy additional insur coverage.
She was trying to sell you the $5.95 per day Collision Damage Waiver that prevents you from having to file on your insurance to cover any damage to the car that might happen while you are driving it.
