My regular hangout, as far as eating out, is a family restaurant that has been around for 50+ years. For me, my meal isn’t complete unless I hear kid noises in the background, normally from a child 1-3 years old. Most of the time they aren’t acting up, they are just making noises that kids make. I enjoy it. Kids are a blessing and it’s also nice to see parents working their magic to keep their kids happy.
Bratty kids are a pain, but most kids are good and I have no problem finding the good ones.
That's about as bad as people letting their kids run screaming and yelling in the 'cry room' at Mass. That room is designed for families with little babies, or toddlers. If your kids can't sit still during Mass, leave them home!
God bless you - what a pleasure to read your reply.

Lately that's the case, but have you ever met anyone from New Orleans? They say that all the time, white as well as black.
Weird how, when I was young, I was extremely active yet could sit through Sunday sermons without issue. The number of times that Mom would have to take me out and administer “correction” could be counted on one hand.
Needless to say, restaurants were no problem.
Funny thing is, had I been raised in today’s climate, I’d have been diagnosed ADHD, although I’m sure Mom wouldn’t have given me meds. She had other, more effective methods.
I was so hyper that, in order to get me to nap, she’d have to secure my arms and legs by putting me in a bear hug and blowing into my eyes until I closed them and went to sleep!
Wish I had that kind of energy now...
Eh, were they like the family hubby and I saw in a Jersey City diner a few years ago, with the children climbing all up and over the banquets and under and around the tables? And these were not wee toddlers, they were more of the 6-9 year old persuasion.
Now, the place was nearly empty and it didn’t really bother us all that much, but it was a little much.
In any event I certainly hope the staff spoke to the family before they called the cops.
“...when hes with me and he wants something, he will always start off by saying, I realize that it cant always be about me, even when theres nobody around but you and me, but...
LOL, that’s very cute!
I have a grandson now, he’s completely adorable and it sounds like your’s is too!
Those newly coined verbs make me want to scream.
This is the result when you give everything to people and convince them they’re above the rules.....an imperious sense that they have the right to be fawned over and treated “speshul.”
That is called racing to type as the wife and 5 year old calls. My bad, sorry.
No, really, that was a work of art! Some typos are actually better than the intended word. :)
Hmmm...but the video is taken in broad daylight on a workday.
Is dad retired?
BTW, why wasn't a ONE year old in a high chair, belted in?
And why was the three year old not in a booster seat on the inside of the booth?
I've never seen someone put a booster seat on the outside edge of a booth.
When I was 3, my ass would have been warmed in about 5 seconds if I started running around a restaurant.
I’m sure they came back during the day to film the vid for proper victimization.
