A river clean-up project this weekend in San Jose had a message of peace and tolerance as well.
Dozens of Jewish teenagers worked side by side with Muslim teenagers, picking up trash along the Guadalupe River.
They were part of a youth inter-faith group organized by the Jewish Federation of Silicon Valley and the Muslim Association of America.
Organizers said these events teach kids and adults valuable lessons.
"Everyone's introduced themselves to each other and got to meet people they didn't know and learned more about working together in our community," volunteer Diane Fisher said.
Among the things picked up this weekend along the river were a hockey mask, a full set of golf clubs, and even a mannequin head.
anyone got a spare Ludwig or Johann layin' around, gimme a shout ?
Let’s hope that the Jews always watched their backs.
It’s nothing to lose your head over.
I kan haz allu akbar?
Self hating Jews in action.
We need a feel good Muslim puff piece now!
How special.
Sad fact is that these Muzzies will still hate Jews no matter how much interfaith programs are created.
Now the kids who participated might lower their guard around moozlums...to their eventual bad end. Clever of the moozlums, no?
It’s a cooperative effort between collectivists and Muzzies to put something like this together. This has been tried over and over in other Jewish communities in America and even Israel. It looks successful on the surface but eventually the Muzzies start complaining and accusing Jews of this and that and it ends.
