It's not 100% science proof ... some of the metrics are taken from purely qualitative rankings

...and some are taken from 7 year old statistics...

Nevermind! It doesn't matter anyway. Give me one more beer - but then I have GOT to get on the bike and ride towards home.

New Jersey - Taxes.

I'm only surprised that this group considered high taxes a negative. There are many websites out there that talk about NJ's high taxes like they are a good model for other states to strive for, as if New Jersey's some exemplar of fiscal soundness!

Georgia and Kansas -- one is the sickest and one has the poorest health. Tough choice.

And, although I am not a Mormon defender, I have a real hard time understanding why Utah is the porn capital of the nation. Due to my general disdain for pop culture statistics, I'm just chalking that up to pure slander.

Not the least bit surprised about PA topping the arson list. Mob burnings of businesses to collect the insurance money is so common it’s the first thing people suspect whenever a fire occurs in any commercial building.

Texas was stuck by the Warren Supreme Court with the problem of educating tens of thousands of Mexican children who never learned English before illegally moving to Texas. No wonder our high school graduation rates are terrible, even though in many schools these children are taught in Spanish. They just aren’t very interested in education when there are Mexican gangs to join.
