DSM no longer characterizes her mental illness as a disorder, she's decided to reveal to everyone that she's always thought of herself as a man.
Personally, she has even bigger problems than even we think if she's willing to take moral direction from psychologists and psychiatrists.
It might help her get her divorce; possibly she lives in a state where you still need an actual reason to dissolve a marriage.
Agree. She has decided since it is no longer considered a mental illness, she will be honest. It is still a personality disorder as are all ‘gender confusion’ problems. The American Psychologic/Psychiatric community has done these very confused people no favors. The rest of the world knows there is something wrong with any confusion over gender. You are born either a male or a female, unless you actually have a genetic disorder such as a hermaphrodite. Every cell in this woman's body screams FEMALE.
