Length of skidmarks and scatter of the debris is sufficient to make an estimate of speed at impact that will stand up in court.
These little buggies are speed limited (due to the tires) at 112 mph IIRC. So he couldn’t have braked much (or any).
Also ABS is standard so not sure how much skid marks laid down.
