Many of my friends-even a couple of women- have recently acquired tats-we joke that we are old enough to do whatever the hell we want, so that makes the tats a statement. None of them are those huge murals or tramp stamps the young have-mostly just tiny ones on the women. MrT5 jokingly said he preferred his bitches without ink-since he’s been gone, I’ve thought about getting inked, but haven’t done so.
If you get the wedding dress made, don’t let xsteen go to pick up the material and trim at the fabric shop when there is a fire next door-that was my kid’s bridezilla moment...
Something small and tasteful, maybe. Anything more is too much.
I’m sorry i do not like them at all and personally don’t find them tasteful. I was laughing but I’d be equally horrified. She said its 4x4 inches and words not a pic. Just don’t see doing something so permanent. Heck buy a tshirt with the profound saying dont plaster it on your body!
My wife got a color tattoo on her shoulder a few years ago. It’s coccoons on a branch and one butterfly. And Sarah’s name.

I’m not a big fan of tattoos in general, buf i can’t begrudge her that.
I’d have done a cross-stitch of it and called it good : ). One of the secretaries at work lost her grown son in a car accident a few years ago and she got a massive one on her shoulder to memorialize him. I don’t begrudge anyone, I just don’t see my body as an unfinished canvas, I guess. I do think the idea behind your wife’s is a very sweet one. I would need 3 cocoons and 3 butterflies and that woukd prob require a full back tat ..,

Depends on the tat. Seriously, if you consider getting one, size matters, too small is never good. And you cant go back.
A tiny flower or a dragonfly would probably be my choice-or an anklet inked around my right ankle, just like the real one I have that MrT5 gave me.
