I'm not terribly well versed in social media in general or in Twitter in particular.
I do have a twitter account, though, to keep up with local news events.
I just tweeted the following, however to my two democrat senators.
@MarkUdall @SenBennetCO You read the bill? You either didn't read it, or you voted for a trainwreck. #RedeemYourVote. Defund Obamacare
I hope I did it right, and I hope that others with Senators that voted for obamacare, and that have access to twitter will send the same hashtag (#RedeemYourVote) to your liberal senators.
my senators are alexander & corker. I think they’re too far gone to be influenced by a twitter campaign.
Primarying them is another option that has even a greater impact.
@PaxIrana 31m Republicans! Give us something to be proud of. It's time and the clock is ticking---on you. #MakeDCListen #DefundObamacare
good move. i’m also including CO in my faxing. they might be a bit more willing to listen after the recalls.
Senator Corker could use some attention, too. His facebook page needs more “Vote No on Cloture” messages.
Im too damn old to learn social media stuff!
I’ll just stay here where its nice and comfy...fully armed of course!
Sending out a tweet is easy to do.
True, a single tweet is just a spit in the ocean, but the more we speak out right now by phone, fax, email, twitter, etc., the louder our voice will be.
I’m one of the few people I know without a facebook account, but twitter seems to be fairly useful for keeping informed about topics I care about.
