Is it Wednesday already?
Sorry to report that it is only Monday. I am taking xsmommy's class because she took mine last week while I was enjoying the wonders of DisneyWorld.
So, in the end Walter was taken down by a device of his own genius creation.
Fitting.
Only thing I’m unclear on is what his beef with Lydia was. Or was he just being thorough in cleaning up?
I think the whole Lydia thing had two angles. To keep Jesse free, and to facilitate Walts return.
You don’t know that he is dead, you only know he’s shot and on the floor.
If you watched Talking Bad last night, the kid that plays Walt Jr. Seemed to tip a hand, when he talked about his character getting the 9 million.
Walt, further co-opted his former partners that stole his work and formed the company they excluded him from, that would serve as a substitute for Madrigal. Secondarily, Given his concern for Jesse and his family, walking away from the remaining 80 million, is nonsensical.
Watching that episode made me think the “end” was a marketing device.
If the remaining money was in the Nazi’s compound, the police would find it. If it is hidden elsewhere, it is likely lost forever.
The fact that Walt shot Jack as he was using “I know where the money is” as a bargaining chip tells me that Walt must have been satisfied with the money he did manage to get to the family.
That was my take on it.
I had considered that.
In the beginning of the series he was looking for less than half a mil, so he had 20x what he got into it for.
After the college athlete graduated, he no longer could stay in the amateur pie contests. No, he had to improve, to do even better each year in more and more ways.
But that was the price he paid as a propityouate: going from just peach pits to cheery, from minced bits to pecan, even biting off apple seeds and pear pieces ....
He does not have the biblical authority he claims. The book is clear on the subject.
Of course he doesn’t, which is why he is campaigning to find people willing to go astray from the Bible and to take that fallen message back to their congregations. there IS no biblical authority in support of the gay lifestyle.

Obama reminds me of the old adage about a poker game:
If you don’t know who the mark is, it’s you.
