Homework time, everybody!
Is it Wednesday already?
Sorry to report that it is only Monday. I am taking xsmommy's class because she took mine last week while I was enjoying the wonders of DisneyWorld.
So, in the end Walter was taken down by a device of his own genius creation.
Only thing I’m unclear on is what his beef with Lydia was. Or was he just being thorough in cleaning up?
I think the whole Lydia thing had two angles. To keep Jesse free, and to facilitate Walts return.
You don’t know that he is dead, you only know he’s shot and on the floor.
If you watched Talking Bad last night, the kid that plays Walt Jr. Seemed to tip a hand, when he talked about his character getting the 9 million.
Walt, further co-opted his former partners that stole his work and formed the company they excluded him from, that would serve as a substitute for Madrigal. Secondarily, Given his concern for Jesse and his family, walking away from the remaining 80 million, is nonsensical.
Watching that episode made me think the “end” was a marketing device.
If the remaining money was in the Nazi’s compound, the police would find it. If it is hidden elsewhere, it is likely lost forever.
The fact that Walt shot Jack as he was using “I know where the money is” as a bargaining chip tells me that Walt must have been satisfied with the money he did manage to get to the family.
That was my take on it.
I had considered that.
In the beginning of the series he was looking for less than half a mil, so he had 20x what he got into it for.
After the college athlete graduated, he no longer could stay in the amateur pie contests. No, he had to improve, to do even better each year in more and more ways.
But that was the price he paid as a propityouate: going from just peach pits to cheery, from minced bits to pecan, even biting off apple seeds and pear pieces ....
He does not have the biblical authority he claims. The book is clear on the subject.
Of course he doesn’t, which is why he is campaigning to find people willing to go astray from the Bible and to take that fallen message back to their congregations. there IS no biblical authority in support of the gay lifestyle.
Obama reminds me of the old adage about a poker game:
If you don’t know who the mark is, it’s you.
America demands Justice for the Fallen of Benghazi!
He’s got a lot of convincing to do.
And when he was choking and visited the doctor, he was told that what was lodged in his throat was the “pro pit you ate.”
what a comedian is the sheik.
So, for the first time ever, the Pirates and the Steelers both had their regular seasons end on the same day.
poor things [steelers]
thank GOD for the Bucs, bc otherwise there would be lots of floaters in those three rivers!!
There were lots of people floating on the river yesterday.
Yes, we went down to see the duck.
I feel your pain - the Texans were totally handling Seattle on the defensive side....then Schaub helped them out. We want TJ Yates!!!!
Sorry dude. Homosexual, means celibacy.
You need look no further than Lot.
At least you didnt draft Geno Effing Smith.
We finally get an offensive coordinator, and now we have the Barack Obama of QBs, a not ready for primetime player, who is on the field because Sanchez is injured.
The Steelers are doing pretty well considering that they can’t block or tackle. There are immediate problems, like the offensive coordinator. But I also think they need to look at the entire system. They aren’t getting good drafts.
My husband is a fan of West Virginia so he was a Geno fan...but last year Texas Tech just destroyed them (and we still had that azzwipe coach who almost destroyed our team) so I knew then he was all hype. I’m shocked at the Giants this year - are we seeing the rise of the West Coast teams???
The rule of thumb in DC is that whichever chamber of Congress has the Dem control must always be propitiated ...
Dave, I say this will a pure heart....Rothlesburger is old and needs to go. As a “not steelers fan” I would love for him to stay because he just can’t move anymore. It just seems that with a few exceptions (like the Manning brothers and a very few others) the new hot QBs are young and willing to risk their lives by scrambling. The old guys are too important and won’t risk it - I’m sure the owners tell them NOT to run but the fans want to see them do something besides eat turf all day. You need a new QB
and a new goalie ; ) i read yesterday that Pens are considering Bryzgalov. you cannot rely on that nut Fleury, bc he’s too easily spooked, and Vokoun also is old and not reliable enough.
Ben needs protection. He is the only thing working on the offense right now.
And when the idiot in charge of the offense lets Ben run the no huddle, it works.
That’s the entire thing playing out over the last 2 years. Todd Haley wants Ben to sit in the pocket and not scramble, but that is against Ben’s nature and suicidal when you have no offensive line.
Ben has thrown some dumb balls this year, yes. But he’s not ready to be put out to pasture yet.
Vokoun is injured.
New Kenny Powers was on last night. I have it recorded.
and he’s 37. he nearly died from blood clots, which is scary as crap. goalie is your weak spot, it needs filling.
The problem with Smith, is the Airraid offense doesn’t translate to pro football, and its glaring.
Aside from the GM costing the Jets a dream season, Smith is now costing every college QB that plays Airraid $$$$$
Under this OC, with this defense, the Jets should not be losing games. They went into last weekend, with a top 3 d, and a top 10 O.
He turned it over 3 times in FG range, late in a 3 pt game week 2, and basically spotted Tenn 28 points yesterday.
Its a miracle I wasn’t at the end of a rope.
If you check me on twitter early yesterday, youll see the idiocy I have been dealing with from Jests fans.
All too lefty to get the B.O. Analogy
Yes, but it seems when the media gets involved bad things happen
Sanchez goes btb AFCCG, then puts up 32 scores the next year under a crap OC.
2012 no oc, massive injuries at skill position.
New GM, wants Smith, who is endeavoring to make Sanchez seem like Montana by comparison.
Which, those of us that pay attention to such things, saw coming.
How do you think tTech going to do this year?
A&M opened a lot of eyes in the SEC last year beating Alabama; then shocked even more scoring 40+ points against Alabama this year, doing it again against Arkansas, against LSU, over and over and ...
All in a sudden, a whole lot of SEC defenses around here are not feeling real good .... Mississippi, for example, lost to Alabama 24 - 0 on Saturday.
First comment says it all.
We watched it - kind of shocking. lol
I disagree - Ben looks like Herman Munster from behind - rigid and stiff - unmoving. But as I said, not my team so they can keep him until he’s 60 and I would be fine with it.
I will look - and you make a good point about the airraid offense getting a bad rap from him.
We are just happy to have a Coach we like again. I’m cautiously optimistic - the guys hated playing for tubby - several claimed football was “fun again” after they got rid of the washed up old fart.
