Are the Democraps admitting that their staff is Nonessential.

I recently called a number of Democraps and Republican offices to leave a comment. What I found is that ALL the Dem offices are closed and you get a propaganda voice mail, where as ALL the Republican offices are open and staff members answer.

Even the White House phone line, that is staffed by Volunteers, is closed.

From this I conclude that the Dems think that they are Nonessential.

All Democrats are non-essential.
With Obama, they just rubber-stamp what he wants anyway, so they might as well not be there.

It's Obama against the rest of the United States.

Did I not read elsewhere on FR that something on the order of 90% of the EPA is classified as “non-essential” staff!?

ALL demonrats are nonessential!
But I think they are hiding...and that maybe a good sign.
I’ve been sending emails to my two gut-less wonder senators, Warner and Kaine.

Maybe they all know they are going to get paid eventually. The democrats say “I’m skipping work and getting free money”. The republicans think “I’m going to get paid so I’m going to do my job”.

Or maybe the republicans in congress are trying to find a solution while the democrats aren’t going to do anything but say “no” (staff not needed for that in all except the most incompetent dems).

I didn't realize these lazy asses didn't push their own elevator buttons and open their own doors. They have people who do that for them! Talk about NON ESSENTIAL!

Elevator Operators in the Capitol make Big Bucks Pressing Buttons for Senators

Over the last five years, Uncle Sam has paid out over $1.2 million to pay operators who man the Capitol’s senators-only elevators. The longer the elevator operator pushes the right buttons, the more money they will rake in. The longest tenured elevator operator has seen a salary increase each of the last five years. That operator has earned over $210,000 over those five years, giving them an average salary of around $42,000 a year.

In 2011, the sergeant at arms office decided that elevator operators would be among the furloughed nonessential staff. However, even after the Senate identified the taxpayer-funded operators as nonessential, no evidence exists to suggest that they plan on eliminating or reducing the funding for those positions. So if you hate pressing the buttons on elevators on your own, all you have to do is become a Senator!

July 30 — In addition to lofty issues of war and peace, the Senate is grappling with another urgent matter: the senators-only elevators at the Capitol are being overrun by the unelected.

“I hesitate to say that it’s a big problem,” said Senator Frank R. Lautenberg of New Jersey, shaking his head gravely. “There is terrific crowding.”

Mr. Lautenberg, a Democrat who has served more than two decades in the Senate, said he had never seen the Capitol so packed with unelected interlopers.

“Sometimes you have to shove your way through, push people,” Mr. Lautenberg said.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW....I don't even want to know what else nonsense our government dollars are wasted on. Some of these people are coming freakin unglued over minor things that most of don't enjoy in the first place. If I want a drink of water that bad I'll find a damn water hose instead of complain about it to the country! Jeezzzzzz, what a bunch of wimps!
