I rode for years.

These guys didn’t get enough of what they had coming.

These were @$$hole thugs, not riders.

MrT5 rode until two years before we moved out here-he quit because vehicles tried on purpose to hit/run him off the road on his way to work almost every day-SA is bigtime bike-unfriendly-he’d ridden to work with no problem every other place he was stationed, including SanFran. He was about to get another bike the year he died-the whole attitude out here is different.

Perhaps it is a city thing, like in SA-the Banditos-a “real” motorcycle gang-used to harass drivers in SA all the time, and when I lived there, I saw motorists deliberately run bikes off the road all the time, never mind that it happened to MrT5-my 1st husband had a bike, too and by 1975, if we wanted to ride we would head right out the highway to the bike-friendly rural areas. I only rode in SA with MrT5 twice, and I was terrified both times-the attitude and looks of most of the motorists were just nasty...

Surprised rhe locals didn’t toss Fritos at them lol.

Theres a sweet spot in Orange county California, where a road leads up into the mountains, then around and out of the mountains straight to the ocean, at Laguna Beach and the 1 Hiway thru Newport Beach straight to Huntington pier...

Butthere, or in NJ, i never had issues with cars, because my philosophy was always to drive a little aggressively. E.g. Always be moving ahead of traffic, unless I was in a Secondary or tertiary road.

I saw it on the news. The biker pulled in front of the car then slowed down and turned around.

I dont know what he was thinking.

They like to eliminate the cars, to have an open stretch of highway. Apparently it happens with frequency.

So, his object was to make the car stop.

Oops.

You are right, of course, but for the wrong reasons.

Its the Republicans fault.

They have been called Arsonists,Jihadists,Terrorists, tea baggers by Democrap leadership.

OK.

Once namecalling starts, the Repukies need only one.

LIBERALS. You know well how insane it drives them. And its crushing in the public discourse.

Let me know the next time you hear a prominent Republican not named Cruz, or Paul use it as a label.

It doesn’t appear that anyone was/is thinking at all-I read that there was supposedly an off-duty cop riding with the bikers, then that the person run over had hired Gloria Alred-or was it Benjamin Crump-anyway, one of those high-dollar ambulance chasers. Yeah, that really lends credibility to their claims...

Whatever happened/didn’t happen, whatever was/was not road rage is going to be obliterated in pending litigation. I’m still convinced that it is a big city thing-in a given year, we do have (more than) our share of lawsuits out here involving county and small town residents, tourists, cops, etc involved in beatdowns, individuals’ violated rights-the occasional tavern brawl, sex party scandal/bust or even a wrongful death, but I’ve never seen vultures gather at warp speed like that, even in SA...

Maybe the rest need training in appropriate fighting words-now repeat after me-liberal-li-berr-aal-good, good, but louder, and curl your lip when you say it, be distainful. Now put an expletive in front of it, they way they do when they throw down on us-f’in li-berr-aal-don’t be shy, let it roll with a sneer-oh, yeah-just like that. Feels good, doesn’t it?

Now watch what you say or they’ll be calling you a radical
A liberal, fanatical, criminal.

“But at night, when all the world’s asleep
The questions run so deep for such a simple man”...

One of my favorite Supertramp tunes

But this is more appropriate to my thinking-I’ve been here already, a long time ago...

“There’s nothing in the street
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-by
And the parting on the left
Is now the parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight

I’ll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I’ll get on my knees and pray
We don’t get fooled again
Don’t get fooled again
No, no!”
