Even the Hells Angels are shocked by the NY biker gang who attacked SUV driver in front of his wife
The London Daily Mail ^ | October 4, 2013 | Staff

The Hells Angels have expressed their shock at the New York biker gang who beat up an SUV driver after he ran one over as they swarmed around his car.

Alexian Lien, 33, was scared for the safety of his wife and two-year-old child, who were both in the Range Rover, and knocked a few of them down so he could escape, leaving one with broken legs and a shattered spine.

But today members of the infamous Hells Angels motorcycle gang - known the world over for their love of fast bikes and a penchant for violence - lashed out at the bikers for taking the law into their own hands, branding their actions 'appalling' and 'unacceptable'.

'That kind of behavior is unacceptable - and with a kid in the car, nonetheless! I have a 3-year-old niece,' one biker told the New York Post at the Hells Angels’ East Village headquarters in New York.

'You get the name and license plate and let the cops deal with it. But violence? I don’t condone that,” the biker said.

'If that had been my kid and I was the one driving...' he added, before stopping short. 'It’s always a few people who give us all a bad name.'(continued)

That’s similar to my experience when I served beer in a pizza joint. The tough looking bikers were among my most polite customers.

I'm thinking that back in my day, bikers got a bad rap because of movie portrayals . I'm not saying the Hells Angels are the salt of the earth. I'm saying they got a bad rap.

I witnessed one more incident at a Dairy Queen involving my brothers 16 year old smart mouth and a large group of Hells Angels.

I don't know about now days, but back in the 70’s, the Hells Angels were alright in my book.

As far as today's bikers are concerned, I know many personally. A more patriotic group can't be found.

So something that the MSM covered 40 years ago and twisted should be held against them today??? I wont say they are choir boys, but they have more morals then 90% of the population I speak from experience and that is my story

I saw this video too. I looks like the riders were behaving like motorcycle riders in some 3rd world places where there are not many traffic rules.

This is going to sound really odd.

In 1985 I was doing a tour from the Dallas area to Santa Fe on a bicycle and had a car run me off the road. I completely taco’d (Bent double like a taco shell) my front wheel.

I couldn’t even push the bike because the wheel was bent so badly and had to keep the front wheel off the ground. Including the panniers full of stuff the front end of the bike probably weighed 35 pounds. Four guys on motorcycles wearing the scary leather stuff and all carrying pistols were the only ones to stop and help. There were no cell phones at that time so one went 20 miles to the next town and got a county sheriff to come pick me up. The other three stayed until the patrol car showed up.

Luckily there was a store in the town that sold kid’s bikes. One of them had a 27 inch wheel which while cheap would fit the frame. I cut the bent rim off the hub and packed the hub.

I was really appreciative. The motorcycle guys wouldn’t even let me buy them dinner for their help.

I had a few friends who were Hells Angels and tougher than anything I knew. Best people on the planet and one was a serious student of the Bible. But you mess with the meek around these guys and Hell is headed your way.

I think you might have missed this. A crotch rocket gang that does stunts on the streets got pissed that a family in an SUV was in their way. They blocked the family in and attacked. The SUV driver hit the gas and crunched his way over the roadblock and escaped.
The jap bike crowd (including 2 NYPD cops!) chased him a few miles, and attacked him, dragging him out and mobbing him in front of his terrified wife and 2 small kids.

The Angels are basically saying it wasn’t righteous.

“Cough...ahem...(Altamont)”

I they did right at Altamont. An idiot climbs on the stage, gets ejected, and produces a revolver. An Angel working security stabbed him.

I can see a ton of criticism for the genius who thought a free rolling stones concert, at a speedway, with volunteer Hells Angels for security was a fine idea.
But should they have just let the idiot wander the stage? Or let him shoot a few people?
Ive always wondered about why they seem to be singled out for the bad press ref Altamont.

‘’Fie on you!’’<< Bravo, well said. I concur. These immigrants are the salt of the Earth, the happy children of the forest ,tender hearted souls who want only to toil honestly to support themselves and their families. Gets you right here, don't it?. ( in the heart.)

"But Hells Angels today hit out at biker gang for taking law into own hands"

One fumed: 'It’s appalling - always a few people who give us all a bad name'

Good thing it's late -- if I were drinking coffee I'd have spewed it all over the keyboard.

The Hell's Angels are some of the most loathsome vermin on the face of the earth. Many of them call themselves "one percenters", and have done so since Hollister, and now they talk about these punks giving THEM a bad name? Impossible.

On the other hand if the Hell's Angels want to pay these (other) vermin a visit, then in the interest of balance these punks should get the same treatment Spike Lee gave to George Zimmerman.

As for those of you that think the Hell's Angels have a moral code with a line that must not be crossed, I might agree. It's just that the moral code is unknown to anyone but the Hell's Angels; the code changes from day to day and hour to hour, and it's cravenly self-serving.

So, avoid them and don't get on their bad side.

Many moons ago when i was high school age, two of my older brothers worked and managed a pizza place. One evening a biker gang...The Gyspy Jokers..came in for pizza. Brothers told the group, both guys and gals they were welcome as long as they caused no trouble. The gang stayed spent money, drank beer, and generally were just a bunch of friends having a night out.

By the pics these looked like a bunch of guys wanting to be tough while riding Japanese bikes. Giving real biker gangs a bad name.

“So do they sell heroin or not?”

Don’t know, but they saved lives at Altamont by stabbing that dope crazed nut with a gun. By the way, if we are gonna talk about selling dope, are we going to mention HSBC? The British bank that was founded on the Opium trade and launders for cartels? Or Wachovia laundering 378 billion in cartel money? Or maybe Bank of America knowing the Zetas had accounts there?

I mean,,if we wanna worry about dope,,,,

The few pictures I’ve seen, the bikers were black. Just curious, was this an all-black bike club?

It sounds just like what those “scary bikers” would do.

Situations such as these make me question where I learned my perception of various entities.

You know what I mean?

And after questioning, I make my own decision.

My experience bears this truth out.

Another highly annotated story.

At 18 I found myself literally on the street. Thirty bucks in my pocket and a suitcase with my clothes.

I walked and walked, found this dive near the boardwalk (Santa Cruz, ca circa 1974).

Ithe managers were bikers ( though I did not know it at the time). I told them I had no money, but needed a place to stay, that I’d find a job, and. Pay them as soon as possible,e.

I have never forgotten their kindness.

Yes, they let me in. No money down. Gave me a television. Told me not to worry, they knew I’d make good.

Got a soft spot for bikers, that’s for sure.
