Sign: Because of the Federal Government SHUTDOWN, All National Parks Are CLOSED.
vanity

Signs like this are being posted by union thugs.

Government workers are instructed to "make life as difficult for people as we can" and these signs are used to assign the blame.

What is the correct message that should be on the sign?

If you are going to one of these Unnecessary Shutdown sites, please consider posting the corrected signage.

The "official" signs appear to be durable materials and have official logos and department letterhead. If there is not a thug around, you might tape your message onto the sign under their letterhead. Remember, almost everything you do in life is breaking some kind of unjust law, so watch out for government thugs.

It needs to be short and pithy, and inoffensive, of course, if it is in a place that deserves respect.

Here are my ideas, which are about the same length as the original text:
1. Obama ordered this monument SHUTDOWN so you would blame Republicans.
2. Obama ordered this monument SHUTDOWN for politics, not because of the budget.
3. Obama spends more to SHUTDOWN this memorial than it costs to leave it open.

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night nor government shutdown stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.

Just take the signs down (they’re only zip tied) and cut the chains of any gates with bolt cutters ... two guys, 7 seconds ... out’a there.

Another reason why there should not be any National Parks. They all lie within a state. Give them to the individual state. No need for the Feds on this one.

Same thing with these Federal Lands that are burning every year. Let the states build the fire roads and regulate the timber.

As blogger Eric Kohn put it, “the White House has elected to shut down most government websites. Except, of course, for the sites to enroll in ObamaCare. Those sites decided to shut themselves down.”

Thank Obama’s armed guards for their service. They wouldn’t have to be here if the park was open.

“Scott Walker is keeping the state parks open and operating. Although some employees are paid with federal grants, Walker and his administration has kept the parks open using state paid workers, while the employees paid for by grants stay home. Wisconsin did close some parks paid for by the feds, but were not to be intimidated into closing all state run parks by a president who is trying to cause citizens as much pain as possible for politics sake.”

So many parks, so few NPS employees. What shutdown? Hand those parks back over to the states, or we force the feds out.

1) Non-essential federal workers -- Good News People! -- big paid vacay for you!! Enjoy!
2) Essential workers -- Suck it up! -- Be at work, no extra pay, but you will have extra work. Ha! Jokes on you because you're "important".
3) Taxpayers -- It's called retribution, Babe! -- We're taking stuff away from you, spending EXTRA money to do so, and giving you no savings of any kind! HA! Sucks to be you, doesn't it!!!

Takeaway -- the entire system is rigged to benefit the looters in charge and the non-essential parasites who work as federal bureaucrats. It's pure corruption all the way through.

A lot of national parks and forests do cross state boundaries, and some of these land masses even share boundaries with corresponding Canadian parks.

This has got to backfire against the Democrats and Obama and the polls have shown this. Everyone, well, a lot of people at least can see how stupid it is. Public workers should serve us, not the public working for the Government workers.

The parks belong to the people not the Feds. The Feds are rentiers taking the flesh of the people to support the elites.

Just occupy the parks that belong to all of us.

You can’t close Mother Nature ; )

She’s been here a lot longer than these bureaucrats and will be here long long after they’re gone

This is why the bicycle is a revolutionary item.

They can only control roads and cars.

The man never strays far from his vehicle
