I hope Saturday was the last time I will have to see those gray UTenn uniforms. I wonder if the helmet design worn by ASU was some sort of Rorschach test. I thought it represented the fire and brimstone of hell since the ASU mascot involves Devils. A radio talk show host thought it was the flames of a barbecue and a co-worker thought the design was reminiscent of bowling balls. The computers have put Clemson into the #2 spot ahead of Oregon. For the coming weeks one has the annual Red River shoot out in Dallas where perhaps OU will put the final nail into Mack Brown's coffin. Have a different style matchup with UF visiting pinball scoring LSU. The Ducks go to Seattle to play UW.

Oregon is the best team, but forget that for a second.
The big story here? 9 out of 10 are BIG GOVT. We can’t escape it. So many millions of college football fans, many who are conservative, miss the fact that in a way, we are supporting big gov and big education with all of this.

I too am guilty...just sayin.....(Go Cocks!)

Clemson is not a top 5 team. The rest seems reasonable.

Not an aggie fan, but ... why are they not in the top 10? They put up 42 points against the number one team and haven’t lost a game except that one.

BCS is a farce.

The computers pushed TAMU out of the top 10.

“OU will put the final nail into Mack Brown’s coffin”

Sooner fans are verbally rooting for Mack Brown to keep his job. As a less than objective observer, it’s clearly time for him to go. And when OU pummels Texas, everyone will think the same. I long for a strong U of T team because I think it helps the B12’s rep which is declining more and more every year. Every season we field 10 teams in a league named “The Big 12” people are reminded that we’ve lost 4 teams.

This can’t be right. The first five teams aren’t all SEC schools? I thought they were the best teams because they are all, like, the SEC, and play rugged SEC schedules against powerhouses like Georgia Southern and Florida International.

Everyone better be on the lookout for Baylor. They’re going to run the table, and no one can stop them. They were the turds of the Big 12 and are still flying under the radar. You can say, “They haven’t played anyone.” Well, they’re not going to play anyone all season and be 12-0 at the end of it. It’s up to the voters to keep them out of the NC game where no one, not even Oregon, will be able to keep up with them.

I’m an Okstate fan.

I said it last week to keep your eyes on Baylor, IMHO they are at least a Top 5 team....I don’t see anybody stopping them at least in the Big 12.

I hate to say it, but FSU looks like they could be a contender. Winston may have a lock on the Heisman.

And their WVU game was much more lopsided than the score indicated. It was 56-14 in the first half. 35-7 just seconds into the 2nd quarter. WVU scored in garbage time.

They had 369 total yards in the first quarter alone.

I think they may have more years to come. What they’ve done there is amazing. Do you think some super fast, 3 star WR wants to play special teams for Mac Brown or Bob Stoops?

TAMU and Oregon may be the only ones who can slow them down enough, and score enough.

They will stumble in November at Jerry World against TTU.

I agree about Baylor, their offense is better than Oregon’s. The only thing that could derail a perfect season would be a breakdown on defense but so far the ‘D’ looks solid.

Oregon? I laugh!!

Not so long a ‘Bama is undefeated. But we’ll see.

RAMMER JAMMER, baby.
