(CBS News) An NYPD undercover detective has now been arrested in connection with an attack on a family in an SUV by a group of motorcyclists, reports CBS News' John Miller.

The officer is expected to be charged with criminal mischief for allegedly banging on and breaking the rear window of the SUV. The detective waited four days before coming forward to the NYPD and he allegedly made false statements about his involvement, reports Miller.

I have been to NY city a few times in the past but not in the last 5 years as I hate the place and I can say with all honesty that the cops are idiots, street thugs, lazy and scruffy who looked like they were dragged out of bed in their uniform.

Obviously not all of them but the majority.
Hell may can’t even shoot either and those black women on the force are prize massive asses and way overweight.

What would be the sense in riding crotch rockets with your fellow gang members if you couldn’t act like the rest of them.

This is what you get when you lower the standards for affirmative action hires.

He was directly involved with a violent felony where people were seriously injured and should be charged as such.

Undercover cops need very strong character traits ... meaning they must never have any doubt in where their allegiance stands. It’s very easy to get drawn into the culture they are supposed to be monitoring and investigating. These undercover cops were not properly vetted by the NYCPD.

Some riders attack the vehicle and eventually its driver, but that part isn't captured on Bresloff's video. Vecere said he and his client "categorically deny that he in any way tampered with the video."

Lousy malfunction, the perps may have a lawsuit against the faulty camera manufacturer. No payoff, no peace!!!

Snowden wasn’t properly vetted. Valerie Plame wasn’t properly vetted. Nadil Hasan wasn’t properly vetted or rebuked when his Islamic supremacists rants became known to his superiors.

Oh by the way, Baraq Hussein Ubama wasn’t vetted.

Bresloff told "CBS This Morning, "based upon the sole fact that I ride a motorcycle, the public has decided that I am a thug or gang member. This is simply not true. I was a spectator of these unfortunate events that occurred." Vecere said, "I believe he thought that he was still rolling [film on the attack]. From speaking to him, it happened so quickly. In other words, it was shocking, terrifying, never expected this to happen at all. And literally was just documenting it like he documented it from the beginning to the end. In other words, 'I'm taping it' originally was, 'I want the police to see that this man hit a motorcycle, ran over motorcycle riders'."

So was he rollin' with the other bikers or just "happened to be filming" like the guy in Houston who videoed a fellow hispanic spray painting on a Picasso painting at the Menil Collection and "thought it was cool" y'know...

ABSOLUTELY , exactly the same as charging the getaway driver with murder when the robbers shoot up the bank...

The entire gang needs to be arrested as a unit... This was a setup .. they intended harm...

You read the book “No Angel” by Jay Dobyns? It is about an ATF agent who infiltrated the Hells Angels. He found himself getting drawn into his own character.

His story would make a great Martin Scorcese film.

If he was undercover in a bikers gang, once damage had occurred to a citizen’s vehicle he could have added some to bolster his street creds. He would make it known, of course, and ultimately steps would be taken (theoretically) to avoid actual monetary damage to the citizen or his insurer.

Which raised the question for me, if this LEO was really under cover who was it that so quickly blew it for him. Some PO'd dept?

The fact that he lied certainly works against him; if he is bona fide he should have kept his mouth shut until his manager could get involved and he would have been cut loose in a way that further added to his creds.. If he did indeed participant in the beat down, he is a rogue.

The officer is expected to be charged with criminal mischief

Interesting. He *actively* participates in a group endeavor to chase down and attempt the murder (it was not assault, it was attempted murder) of an innocent motorist. And that's criminal mischief?

Some enterprising person should publish this effin basturd's home address on the web.

Does anyone besides me find it interesting that the newspapers bust their humps to publish the names and addresses of *legal*, *law abiding* CCW holders and (I'm betting) will make no effort to expose the identities of the feral animals that committed this heinous crime?

Poor man (the victim), if he had been black he'd have Obama and Holder out there touting riots and vigilante justice. But, Obama's sons were the perpetrators and the victim was just another Asian who achieved success on the backs and the expense of the "brothers". Hell's Bells, he practically was begging for a beat down.

Gabe Suarez:
Figure three rounds per man, and you can reduce an angry mob of panga swinging killers into a fleeing group of bloodied bad guys. Draw it and yell, "Get The F*** Back!"
If they do, run away. If they do not, shoot the first man in the face. The rest will take care of itself.

The only way to defeat brutality is with extreme and greater brutality. Keep that in mind, arm yourself properly and if it comes, be brutal.

If you went to the store, or anywhere else today and weren't carrying, you should stop and consider everything above.

I’m sure a police union shyster will be along real soon
to explain why he is a victim. This is for show, smoke and
mirrors.
