No, that’s Comet Bennet from 1969-1970

The best night viewing it, the head was right on the horizon, and the tail stretched more than halfway to the zenith! And it was quite dark that morning.

But hey, what do I know? I was just a fifteen yr old kid with a 2 1/12 inch el cheapoe refractor telescope!

Funny how some times all it takes is simple things, and yur in heaven, eh?

yep ... the views from the refractor telescope kept me up many a night enjoying the sky. Those were the times. Could almost hear the humming of space. Maybe there was an up late bee buzzing around me creating the humming sound but wow ... full agreement was viewing heaven or the heavens. The movements, in the sky, were always a fascination. Nothing would stay still .... LOL.
