You're right, I just looked at the photo. Apparently the lowercase "united" was used in the Declaration, and the uppercase "United" was used in the Constitution.
So I stand corrected, thanks. But - the name of the 14A corporation is still, I believe, the "United States" without the "America."
Also, calling all of North, Central and South America "America" is, I believe, a stretch. "The Americas," perhaps - I've heard that. But never the singular for the whole thing.
