Well, I was understating it to 100/month, hoping no one would turn up to say that’s exorbitant.

Of course it’s impossible to say what the price is, it depends on how much a person smokes, not just the price per pack.

So a pack a day, which is not the rule, would come to 210/mo where you see the prices. Here in PA it’s around 5 a pack and everyone swears they don’t smoke a pack a day.

In any event the fed govt will soon put a stop to tobacco use. Just another aspect of obamacare to watch out for. You know those road signs that say, “DUI...you can’t afford it?” Pretty soon it’ll be “Smoking...you can’t afford it.”

Then it’ll be roots and grubs or nothing.

Stuff-your-own costs $10 a carton with shipping. The machine is available new in box from eBay for under $50 and the makings from on line sources (check around). Takes 1 minute per cigarette. Flavor etc is comparable to ready-mades.

In stressful times, people don’t quit.
