Texas bubbas can’t drive on either snow or ice.

But then, neither can most drivers in New York City...

Just an observation from experience...

I live in southwest Washington State. Every year in early November I have studded snow tires put on my 4WD Jeep.

The 240Z I mentioned in this post always had two sets of tires. It is a good vehicle for driving on snow or ice if you’re got studs.

It hasn’t been unusual during winter’s past for me to drive 70 to 80 miles on an interstate during a snowstorm. That’s why I was so horrified by the poor snow and ice driving skills exhibited by Texans when I lived there 30 years ago.
