I thought this was about UCF’s impressive victory tonight against Louisville. :-)

They had less trouble getting through the LA Dodgers than the Pittsburgh Pirates. Truly, our Buccos are the next best team in at least the National League.
We've got to give grudging respect to the Cardinals organization. They are, like us, a small market team with limited power to just buy a championship. And to think that they could let a one man wrecking crew like Albert Pujols get away and not even miss a beat . . .

Cool. As I’ve posted many times, I placed my bets of the Tigers, and I’m in Hollywood.

I'm very offended at the name of this team *Cardinals*. It offends b/c it mixes religion with organized sports.
I demand they change the name of their team.

Love this piece by Puffington Post....
The St.Louis Cardinals: An Iconic Baseball Franchise Can't Escape Its Angry, Modern Fan Base
(Cards fans are RAYCISSS!)
"Now all of this isn't being mentioned to denigrate the entire Cardinals fan base. In spite of the numerous tweets, it is important to acknowledge that they do not accurately represent the views of the majority of fans, or of the Cardinals organization and players."
But we're going to paint you as racists nonetheless.

I wanted the Cards to win, as I’m a big Beltron fan. He was my fav when he was a Met.
However ——— I’m originally from Boston, (worshipped #9) So, if the Sox win tomorrow—————

The Three R’s: Replacements, Rookies, and RISP. That’s the story of this pennant-winning season.
Replacements: Guys go down, other guys step up to take their place, and do it quite well. Guys who needed to be replaced this season at some point: C. Carpenter, Motte, Boggs, Garcia, Westbrook, Mujica, Craig. Guys who stepped in and replaced them: Miller, Mujica, Rosenthal, Kelly, Wacha, Rosenthal, Adams. All in-house guys, too.
Rookies: Ten rookies on this postseason roster. Ten! Adams, Kozma, Chambers, Wong; Miller, Wacha, Maness, Siegrist, Martinez, Rosenthal. And other than Chambers and Wong, these rookies have played major roles in the team getting this far. I have never seen such a collection of great young pitching arrive at the same time on the same team (to go along with the staff ace, the veteran Wainwright).
RISP: Timely hitting with Runners In Scoring Position. Craig, Holliday, M. Carpenter, Beltran, Molina—five of the top six RISP guys in the league are on the Cardinals.

Jim Leyland’s final contribution was giving the AL home field advantage for the WS.
