At home though all water goes through my Berkey first. Filling it I can smell chlorine in the water.

Filtering the water will make a huge difference in the taste of coffee or tea, too.

What do you drink at work?

Well, I work outdoors, so I always have a gallon cooler with home filtered water in it. I also use it to make my coffee, and any other home prepped drinks that require mixing with water.

My Bottled Water is Arrowhead Spring Water. It is not just filtered City water. Sparkletts on the other hand...

My first Girlfriend’s Father was their Chief Chemist, so I have stayed with what I know and trust for over 40 years.

He made sure their Quality Control was the best it could be. The guy was beyond Brilliant, except for the fact he let someone like me date his daughter.

40 yrs ago if you would have said "Grandma, I'm going to put tap water in bottles and sell it for more than gasoline costs"she would sniffed your orange juice, smacked you in the back of the head, told you to get your head out of the clouds and back in the books.

Invest in an Aquacera Ceracarb.

I bought a reverse osmosis system 20-25 years ago. Great water.

I buy cheap bottles of water for the same reason. Refill them. I love the easy packets of instant Snapple. I buy the water and the Snapple packets at the dollar store. A heckuva lot cheaper than sodas, etc.

We are fortunate to live where the tap water tastes good considering the chemicals they add. We bought a Berkey about 3 years ago and added fluoride filters about a year later.

We use it for coffee, tea and all cooking that requires water. Our ice maker quit and instead of fixing it, we now fill ice cube trays. We use stainless steel insulated cups for water, tea or coffee in our vehicles and carry extra in thermoses.

We have bottled water in our emergency kit in case we get stuck and need more water than we usually carry with us or need to rinse something.

I love living in Arizona, but the tap water is virtually undrinkable. Filtering systems or water softeners help some, but I don't think the results are good enough. In rainy parts of the country, bottled water might be an extravagance - around here, you're just asking for serious health problems if you don't drink it.
