Not criticizing your placing this article here, Joe.

He spent all these years talking about how the movie stereotyped Italians, but he never watched the movie?
What a maroon.
It’s like thinking Obama care is easy to sign for, without going through the process.

"You demean our system of law and order by saying if you want to get justice you mow down the bums," Not even close, Mario, not even close. And I live in a town where you can't get a decent cannoli.

Godfather Trivia of the day - Supposedly the actor ad-libed the famous “take the canoli” line. Same for Marlon Brando picking up the cat in the opening scene.

Godfather Trivia of the day - Supposedly the actor ad-libed the famous take the canoli line. Same for Marlon Brando picking up the cat in the opening scene. The coolest "behind the scenes" thing that I've ever heard about the Godfather was the scene with Luca Brasi practicing his lines before going in to see the Godfather. Coppola saw the actor Lenny Montana actually rehearsing his lines on the set and told a cameraman to film it. This little clip works perfectly in the movie to illustrate the respect in which the Godfather was held.
It's little nuggets like this and a hundred others that make Godfather I and II masterpieces.
