The CZ52 is an interesting handgun, rather over-engineered (it uses a short recoil operating system with two rollers, similar to the MG42 machine gun). It's not too hard to find Czech ammo that has a steel core, making it quite effective against soft body armor.

IIRC, the milspec ammo is rated at 1,500 fps, but capable of handling somewhat hotter handloads.

Sweet gun but getting VERY hard to find.
Tokarev TTs are still common and cheap and shoot the same kevlar-vest-munching round. Get a couple today.
