Shep Smith's Alleged Boyfriend Will Neither Confirm Nor Deny He's Shep Smith's Boyfriend
New York Magazine ^ | 10/24/2013 | Joe Coscarelli

The 26-year-old Fox Business producer, a former production assistant on Fox Report With Shepard Smith, "has not returned multiple emails sent to three different email addresses, a LinkedIn message, five text messages, and three voicemails left on his cell phone." Gawker really wants to know what it's like to (allegedly) date Shep Smith.

I didn’t say that I believed it, I said it had been theorized by a literary critic. I suggest you read his book(s) before dismissing his ideas. Leslie Fiedler, “Love and Death in the American Novel”.
For my part, I don’t care for either Fitzgerald or Hemingway.

And, we call them on it......regardless of their sexuality. Get it?

God no, Daisy Buchanan is barely even a character. Daisy Miller is much more substanial, as is Isabel Archer.

152 That’s quite interesting, although I wonder if it was not the SS but the SA, which was a really butch homo crowd, until Hitler had them all killed. ... In any case, would you have a link?

No link, but the story fits with the theme of ...

http://www.defendthefamily.com/pfrc/books/pinkswastika/html/the_pinkswastika_4th_edition_-_final.htm

1995 - Scott Lively’s and Kevin Abrams’ controversial book, The Pink Swastika: Homosexuality in the Nazi Party, was published. Its theme was that “butch” (ultra masculine) homosexuals within the Nazi Party contributed to the extreme militarism and barbarism of Nazi Germany. The authors maintained that a key to understanding the cause of the German social collapse, which culminated in the atrocities of the Third Reich, was found in the conflict of Hellenic and Hebrew (Judeo-Christian) value systems. This war of philosophies, as old as Western civilization itself, pit the homoeroticism of the Greeks against the marriage-and-family-centered heterosexuality of the Jews. Although the Nazis included homosexuals in their persecutions (though at a much lower level than homosexualists contend), the homosexuals they persecuted were almost exclusively the effeminate members of the homosexual community (who they claimed were also very active in the communist party, and therefore political rivals) in Germany. Persecution of the femme homosexuals provided a degree of public cover for their own homosexuality. Lively and Abrams also contended that much of the mistreatment in the concentration camps was administered by masculine homosexuals who despised effeminacy in all its forms. The book, and authors, have been subjected to heavy criticism from the homosexual lobby, segments of the Jewish population, and others.

Lively and Abrahms state their case that the homosexuality of the SA transfered into the SS after the Night of the Long Knives. They also write extensively about Hitler's sexuality.

154 I’d have to read the study, and read the stuff written about the study, to even begin to know what I really think about if gayness is genetic or not. ...

5/13/2013 – An article was posted at http://www.hollanddavis.com/?p=3647 which claimed “Identical Twin Studies Prove Homosexuality Is Not Genetic.”

Eight major studies of identical twins in Australia, the U.S., and Scandinavia during the last 2 decades all arrive at the same conclusion: gays were not born that way. “At best genetics is a minor factor,” says Dr. Neil Whitehead, PhD. Whitehead worked for the New Zealand government as a scientific researcher for 24 years, then spent 4 years working for the United Nations and International Atomic Energy Agency. Most recently, he serves as a consultant to Japanese universities about the effects of radiation exposure. His PhD is in biochemistry and statistics.

Identical twins have the same genes or DNA. They are nurtured in equal prenatal conditions. If homosexuality is caused by genetics or prenatal conditions and 1 twin is gay, the co-twin should also be gay. “Because they have identical DNA, it ought to be 100%,” Dr. Whitehead notes. But the studies reveal something else. “If an identical twin has same-sex attraction the chances the co-twin has it are only about 11% for men and 14% for women.”

Because identical twins are always genetically identical, homosexuality cannot be genetically dictated. “No-one is born gay,” he notes. “The predominant things that create homosexuality in one identical twin and not in the other have to be post-birth factors.” ...

So butch homos go Nazi, and femme homos go commie? Wow. We need Freud here to explain this.

Scott Lively’s and Kevin Abrams’ controversial book...

As a teen I read The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich in which the author dwells briefly on the vile and brazen homosexual practices among the Nazis. It seemed that it was common knowledge at one time.

Many decades later, the testimony of eyewitnesses has been entirely dismissed, the report demoted to the level of a bizarre allegation and a book that exposes it is considered "controversial" even though it is heavily footnoted.

This is progressive revision of history. I choose to remember.

George Takei, Star Trek’s ‘Sulu,’ Wants Your ‘Gay’ Babies
Posted 2 hours ago by Gary DeMar Filed under Entertainment, Ethics, Homosexuality, Liberal Bullying, Liberalism, Marriage, Media, Morality

George Takei gained fame and some fortune in the Star Trek TV show and the motion picture series of the Sci-Fi classic playing USS Enterprise helmsman Hikaru Sulu

A few years ago, Takei announced that he was “gay.” William Shatner and Takei have had an ongoing feud. I don’t know if it has anything to do with Takei’s homosexuality. “In 2008 [Shatner] branded George ‘sick’ and ‘psychotic’ and claimed he feels ‘nothing but pity for him,’ as he responded to numerous attacks and snubs.”

The following might be some of the reason that Shatner has had problems with Takei:

“Speaking on LGBT issues at the National Press Club on Friday, actor George Takei said he loved young, straight couples ‘because they’re going to be making the gay babies of tomorrow.’

“‘I love young people, especially young, straight couples, because they’re going to be making the gay babies of tomorrow,’ said Takei, who is best known for playing Lieutenant Hikaru Sulu on the ‘Star Trek’ TV series and movies.”

"sanc·ti·mo·ny (s ngk t -m n )

n.

devoutness or high-mindedness."

Exactly.

You pat-yourself-on-the-back "tolerant" types never seem to realize that about yourselves.

"Because I won’t hate without a reason?"

You know, I'm really tired of seeing that word tossed around so easily. Leftwingers started doing it to try and shut up disagreement. Now I see conservatives doing the same thing......not to stifle speech, necessarily, but not used accurately, either.

It has lost all its meaning.

He's not a queer? When did you find this out?

Thank you very much. This is the subject I disagree most with on free republic. I suppose all the freepers who just love to call gay people fudge packers and the like have no flaws themselves and no sins at all, otherwise why be so full of hate for people not doing anything to harm them?

I do not like the agenda to push gay marriage or sex Ed to young children, but every individual is a child of Gd and we are not talking about a political opponent here. Shep works for Fox and he doesn’t seem like a leftist. He is incredibly effeminate but that isn’t his fault. It’s just who he is. I can handle that people have differences. Kraut has his chair; Shep has his mascara. I really don’t care.

If he is, atleast he is not shoving it in people’s faces. I don’t know why liberals feel gays have to be “out and proud.” I am not interested in anybody’s lifestyle. And he is entitled to keep it private if he wishes.

The left wing media is vile and gossipy as it always has been.

"unlike yourself I am a good catholic and don’t judge"

How do you function as a Christian without being able to distinguish between right and wrong?

I used to hang out in political chat rooms, and liberals always misused the "don't judge" Scripture just like this. Let's keep it in proper context.

The passage in which Jesus tells us to remove the beam from our own eye is not telling us to avoid judging, but HOW to do it. We are not to judge if we are engaged in the SAME behavior. Jesus goes on to tell us(and it's funny how this is always ignored)that we may judge our brother's behavior.

Indeed, Scripture is filled with admonishments TO judge.

See mustangman in post 13. He evidently doesn’t think deviancy is relevant either.

(shaking head) Who let all the libs in here?

EXCUSE ME, but some of us love the Constitution so much we believe that EVERYONE should get to live the lifestyle they wish (as long as it doesn’t hurt others).

Shep Smith, an obvious gay man, has a boyfriend. Do we have to, as FReepers, call him junior high names? Or can we live and let live?

Don’t try to change the subject. You haunt threads about homosexuals and defend them.

You say that like its a bad thing. What religion are you that you want to hurt homosexuals? Not one of the big ones. Other people sin — maybe you do too?

otherwise why be so full of hate for people not doing anything to harm them?

So when business owners are sued into oblivion, when soldiers are court martialed for not approving of homosexuality when homo sex is drummed into kids by public schools and the media and when people are attacked and slandered for not approving of their perversions this is "not doing anything to harm them"?? Now that these same people want to normalize pedophilia (NY theaters are going to let kids in to see a new NC-17 movie all about a woman and a little girl having sex) I guess that's not harming anything either? .... Everyone is a sinner, but how many other sins are flaunted in parades and declared a right and forced onto people who disagree? How many people identify themselves with their sins?

I’ve noticed the usual suspects reply to these threads just so they can write fag, queer, faggot, homo etc. The comments are never thoughtful or informative. Just want to get their hate on. Sad.

Exactly. And that doesn’t lift or better our argument that we need a small, fiscally responsible government and to shine the light on the tyranny we now endure.

It’s petty and makes me think that these freepers wouldn’t be very nice to conservatives who look different from themselves.

What’s sad is the people who accept homosexuality as if it isn’t a mental illness when it is. Deviancy is not acceptable and saying so has NOTHING to do with hate.

Deviancy is a word fraught with value judgment. As if you are better than those you are calling, basically, freaks.

That is prejudiced and unkind. I agree homosexuality is a brain condition. One completely not the person’s fault. Some freepers suffer depression. Some have bipolar. We don’t single them out as freaks. Why do you?

Because it involves something you think is “yucky.” Believe me, your private sexual moments or thoughts are ALSO yucky to others.
