Fifty years ago I heard Sinatra fans making excuses, “One must separate the artist from his art!!”
Others referred to him as “Frank Not-so-hotra”.
Sinatra once called a Jewish guy the worst possible insult to a Jew. Joe Kaplan or whoever it was busted all of Frank’s front caps with a single punch & nearly got elected mayor of Las Vegas because of it.
I must admit I still like his “Something Stupid” duet with daughter Nancy. “It Was a Very Good Year” was good, too.
He singing Things with Dean Martin was more of a duet.
