While I'm not sure if this still awaits the imprimatur of the courts, but it looks like Detroit's pensioners will get 16 cents on the dollar.

Sabres' owner Terry Pegula apparently put his imprimatur on the blockbuster trade of Thomas Vanek to the Isles for Moulson + a couple high draft picks.

I didn't see this happening so soon; Vanek was bound for UFA anyway, maybe it's better value now. Interesting too that it took place just prior to Lindy Ruff's return to the Arena tonight coaching for the Stars ...
