The regime now exercising power in the territory once known as “the United States of America” has no allies. They don’t even have any remotely friendly foreign nations.
The one trump card the former US had, was that its military might was the equal of every other military force in the world, put together. Now that that one superiority has been let go, by default, the rest of the world, reverting to the primal instincts of feral humanity everywhere, senses the lack of will behind the Current Regime, and makes more and more emboldened provocations. It is only a matter of time before the circling jackals will sweep in on the dying lion.
FDR was running an intelligence operation against Great Britain in the 1930’s and all through the Second World War, but the Soviet Union was strictly “hands off”.
