I bought a Canon EF in Tokyo in spring 1977 with four or five Canon lenses (all prime) down to 15 mm. Got a fast 50 mm Canon lens (f1.4). It was a magnificent camera, but I quit using it when I switched to Nikon P&S about 6 years ago. I just took the second batch of slides to a shop to have scanned -- did 18 trays x 80 slides per tray. It is so cool having them come up on the 55 inch plasma as a screen saver via Apple TV.

I'm so very tired of the sluggish performance of the Nikon P&S as well as poor exposures and poor performance in low light. So I'm thinking of moving up to a Micro Four Thirds by Olympus, specifically the new OM-D E-M1. Has anybody here used the original OM-D E-M5?
