sure it’s done - all the time. In fact most of my relatives eat watermelon with salt, and some (myself on occasion) apple pie with cheese..... there are all sorts of culinary adventures that await... just open your gullet ... I mean mind... ;)

You don't mix salty with milky/creamy, or salty with sweet. It simply is not done.

I dunno, the chocolate/caramel/sea salt craze has been going strong for around five years now. With the right chocolate, the sweet & salty mix is a winner.

Nothing new to the residents of southern Ohio; chocolate covered chips have been around during the holidays for several years now.
I can do without the chips, but we Buckeyes know Esther Price dark chocolates are the gold standard in chocolate candies. Godiva is second rate to those of us raise on Price’s chocolates.

oh wow what a good idea this is ever one knows amended used to know that when chocolate is involved bypass the rest of the crap and just go with the chocolate

but then agin wth do i know one of my fave snacks is nacho cheese doritos and dill pickle slices covered in ketchup
