But he IS bringing down the US with him. That’s what it means to have a foreign enemy combatant in our White House. That’s what he’s there for, and it’s the ONLY thing he has ever succeeded in doing. Until we get all the appointed US enemies out of the bureaucracy, judgeships (including SCOTUS), ambassadorships, czar offices, etc.... the man will totally succeed in bringing this country down.

I spoke to a guy at a wedding yesterday who I’m pretty sure was an Obama supporter but since Obamacare is threatening to wipe him out has realized the condition that we are in. The Chinese have bought out Farmland Foods, which employs a large number of people in my community. They have bought a lot of livestock also and when the 3-year contract of the union employees runs out all heck will break loose, they’ve been told. If the union doesn’t accept low wages they’ll bring in Chinese to work. If the economy won’t support $6/pound pork, they’ll export it to China where they CAN get that price. What this guy was realizing was basically Agenda 21; our food supply is being bought out.

He agreed with me readily when I said that I had feared that the Chinese, realizing they will never get paid back because there is not enough money in the world to pay back the US debt, will give up on getting MONEY from us and will instead walk off with the collateral: the land and infrastructure. The easiest way to do that would be to wipe us out through an EMP-type attack that kills us off but leaves infrastructure largely intact. After an attack like that, they could wait for a lot of people to die off and then invade and take over the whole place. Interesting that North Korea had leaked plans about a nuclear attack on US cities, and now China has done the same thing...

Here’s the Oath of enlistment:

§ 502. Enlistment oath: who may administer

(a) Enlistment Oath.— Each person enlisting in an armed force shall take the following oath:
“I, XXXXXXXXXX, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.”
(b) Who May Administer.— The oath may be taken before the President, the Vice-President, the Secretary of Defense, any commissioned officer, or any other person designated under regulations prescribed by the Secretary of Defense.

Obama is the President and has disgraced the office. He deserves not only to be booed but impeached. It is splitting hairs to make a distinction between the man and the office given his soiling of the office and his outright lies from Fast and Furious to Bengazi to Obamacare.

The men were given a standing ovation at the end of their oath. In other words, they made it clear that their displeasure was with Obama and not the NG recruits.

Every time Obama appears in public he should be booed. He is not a king but a public servant.

It would have been informative to have the reporter interview some of the people who completed the oaths and get their “take” on it.

Seems like the standing ovation would make clear the point that it was the reference to the “President” that brought the boo’s - and that the men/women themselves were being honored.

The President, whomever that is, is only a temprary steward of that office...Their policies, orders etc, are the lawful authority any member of the armed services is compelled to carry out...

Now, that being said, the political agenda tha they are responsible for is not something a lot of people can do anything about...Elections are still our ultimate check and balance on this system...That is everyones responsibility to be informed and draw their own conclusions as to what is right and wrong...

Obama is not going to be there much longer, yes, his policies and the effects on us and future generations will be felt for a very long time...

We can only hope to be vigilant, and pass on our values and virtue to future generations...

Well there’s a small glimmer of real hope that at least some of the younger population hasn’t been hypnotized.... : )

They also honored Mizzou grads that had distinguished themselves in the military, very emotional ovation for 2 that had died in combat.

Interestingly, the city of Columbia is one of the 3 most liberal areas of the state. Of course many of those at the football game don't live in Columbia...wonder if they would have booed if it had happened at a soccer game?

Exactly. Our rights are inalienable. We'd better leverage those rights or they'll be gone soon.

I would have booed too. But I would have clapped for the recruits.

“This is not the first time mid-Missouri has publicly expressed its distaste for President Barack Obama.
This booing at the mention of the president comes less than three months after a rodeo clown in Sedalia mockingly donned a mask of Barack Obama’s face at the Missouri State Fair.”
Some people still don’t understand that the rodeo clown was just doing what has been done at rodeos for a long time.

Many people refuse to distinguish between the Office of The President of The United States and the individual currently occupying that office...Most likely the booing was for the despicable, disgraceful current occupant, and not in disrespect for the office...Hopefully the new recruits understood this, and took no personal offense...

The intention of the Oath of Enlistment is clear...The Constitution takes precedence, and the orders of the President and officers are to be obeyed when and as those orders are lawful and Constitutional...

The President swears his own oath, and is also bound by the supremacy of the Constitution, as are all officers...Enlisted personnel are still (used to be?) assumed and required to refuse un-Constitutional orders...

Conscience has consequences, however, and a soldier may suffer for refusing...But Nuremburg demonstrated that “I was just obeying orders” is not an adequate defense...This was revisited more recently during the trial of Lt. Calley for the My Lai Massacre...

Incidentally, though some of us are a bit “long in the tooth”, there are several million veterans who swore this same oath to the Constitution...We understand the supremacy of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, revere and practice the Second Amendment in it’s original and intended meaning, and will ultimately hold any President and officers to their oaths...

By force of arms, if need be...
