gelidness - Noun; gelidly - Adverb
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

I ate a gelid’onut with my morning coffee.
It’s frosty and gelid this morning in Wisconsin. I saww actual snow flurries on my way home from work last night. It’s depressing.

No frost on my car this morning. I am headed for breakfast, BB in < an hour. Hold down the fort.

It’s 31 and gelid outside this morning. Frost on rooftops and lawns. Brrr.

BTW, our parish youth group is going to Tioga Center, NY on a mission trip this spring. I think they are going to fix houses and clean up yards. They are selling soup on Sunday to raise funds to go.
I hate to sound selfish, but I could really use some help in my yard. I guess that doesn’t sound too exciting for a teen ager, however.
Your youth group is coming to Tioga Center? With the Catholic church? This is my parish.
