I was sitting in an Israeli restaurant next door to a “Runners’ Shoppe” and noticed this ABSURD sign in the window:
“November is NATIONAL RUNNERS SAFETY MONTH”
I could barely contain my mirth. The Israeli Waitress and i had a good chuckle when I remarked :
“Is this an initiative to issue all solo runners a CCW?
Or is it a reminder to remember to make sure your shoe laces are tied?”
national runners safety month! Can you believe it?
Run facing traffic, wear light colored or reflective gear if it is dark, stay hydrated, be aware of your surroundings...nothing wrong with that.
