One of the sports sites did a comparison of "Boom" and Zook and they have almost identical overall records at the same point in their coaching careers at UF. No wonder Gator fans are not happy. Boom = Zook II.
I read that....seems like BEVO may have dodged a bullet. Real question is..if Boom goes bust after the season..who do you replace him with? The Gator AD is under the gun here..Boom was his hand-picked choice..part of me wants to cut Will some slack..they had a great season last year, and all the injuries this year really hurt..but even I could see that Driskel couldn’t throw the ball down the field...and with SEC defenses you can’t have a one-dimensional offense..I think that Will may be a superb DC, but just not equipped to be a head coach..
