Please do read the series. Bob the Nailer will become one of your favorites. The movie does not do the book(s) justice.
The only movie I ever saw that followed the book was “the godfather”. I think the author had input into the movie. Saw nothing in the movie that wasn’t in the book.(that I can remember)
