I understand. Like when Susan Sarandon and Sean Penn whined and moaned about Rudy Giuliani when he actually loved abortions and homosexuality as much as they did.
That goes for Palin as well. Whether or not, you like her, understand that liberals use her as a proxy for all conservatives in general.
