Same with Republican politicians, like Mitt, who claimed he saw his dad march with MLK.

I didn’t realize all those people even knew where the South was located to ‘march’ with MLK to straighten out us Southern heathen. Besides the fact that many of us had best friends that were black before they “ taught us “ tolerance.

In the 50s my dad’s best friend and hunting buddy was black and spent more time at our house than he did at his. His kids were like the rest of our dozens of cousins running around playing, arguing and fighting. Didn’t matter to us.

There are also interviews with Mitt Romney claiming that he and his father BOTH marched with MLK, neither of which is true.

Those threads were really nasty, as the Romney crowd threw everything they could into defending the false history.
