WinAmp is still around? Haven't used it since the early nineties, and it's not listed as far as I can recall on any of the main linux repositories.

Well, I've been meaning to dust off some old computers and have a go at them once again, and I think I have one that still has W95b OSR2 on it so perhaps I will have a look at that now.

Running 5.6 right now, with Loop Master and PaceMaker plugins. The BEST way to learn how to play guitar leads of your favorite songs.

I got tired of WinAmp, like so many products out there every new version was less stable than the previous, and it would always nag you to update, giving you the choice of clearing a message box every time you use it or going ahead and getting the next worse version. Some FReeper recommended Media Monkey and that’s been my primary media players for years now.
