Nor should he. Bama is on the verge of history, and she will get there.
And I was there in that cold night at Boone Pickens Stadium for all of it, watching my OKST Cowboys show the world that Baylor was still Baylor, not the 61ppg average that the media wanted to hang their hat on while advancing the notion BU belonged in the National Championship discussion. Now my fellow OSU fans and I are left to contemplate "what could have been" without the WVU loss and the upcoming Bedlam brawl with the Sooners on 12/7.
Gators could beat the Seminoles, Michigan State could beat Ohio State, Auburn could beat Bama, OSU could beat Oklahoma, then what? Auburn-OSU final?

Probably. BUT IF by chance Auburn makes it, I’m going to the game, Disneyland AND the Ronald Reagan Presidential Libary . . . and see my daughter march during halftime show. :) A Mom can dream anyways! :) It was an amazing turnaround over last years season.

I’m not one of those Alabama fans that roots for Auburn to lose every game. I don’t always root for them to winm when they’re not playing us, either. I work with a LOT of Auburn fans, and every now and then, one ticks me off, and then I will root against them.
But I only dislike Auburn at the most. True hatred is reserved for Notre Dame.
By the way, what instrument does your daughter play? I took up trumpet about a year and a half ago, myself. something to do for retirement, I hope.
For marching she plays mellophone . . . also plays clarinet and alto sax. Band was tough this year, majoring in ChemE. Lots of time spent practicing and games on Saturdays.
I’d be happy if either team won. Same as when I was in TX, I rooted for the Longhorns and A&M.

I’m a metallurgist, myself, and when I came through, there were exactly 3 women in the entire engineering department at UA.

The only way Florida beats FSU this weekend is if the other 104 Seminoles were arrested with Jameis Winston for getting it on with Erica Kinsman

I hope she survives this year. I think it will be make or break. I honestly don’t think schools prepare them enough. She is very smart, had 4.382 or something like that in high school but she has to work hard at Auburn.
This Saturday, I’m going to be at the Coliseum to cheer on the Trojans as they beat the Bruins and take the Victory Bell back to its home on South Hoover Street.
We used to refer to engineering school as “pre-business” when I was there. Now those of us who stuck it out are working for those that went into business.
Freshman year, they try to eliminate you. It's not accidental. It's like the Navy Seals; they try to wash out the ones that won't make it.
Funny thing is, graduate school is much easier, even for a doctorate, EXCEPT the dissertation (or thesis), which is a killer, and makes up for everything else.
