I will always remember looking at a tiger in the Central Park Zoo, it was staring at me with a very intent look which clearly conveyed to me “if these bars were not here, I would eat you right now”; I never really saw a lion look at me that way, they generally seem bored in a very catly way.
So yeah, I’d have to bet on the tiger.

I saw a male tiger at a rescue zoo. The fence was about 5 feet from where you stood. The tiger was on the opposite side of the enclosure, with his back to us, about 30 feet away. The owner of the zoo forgot to tell us that he hated men, and for me to keep my voice down (it was a very small "zoo"). Anyway, I started saying something, the tiger whipped around, sprinted towards me, and jumped into the wire fence, teeth bared and claws out, a few feet in front of my face.
I, too, would have to bet on the tiger.
